Cut off marks are on the basis of General Studies Paper-I only. General Studies Paper-II is of qualifying nature with 33% marks as per Rule-15. The Commission publishes these minimum qualifying marks once a cycle is complete, so the newest published cut off is for an earlier cycle than the one now under way.

What was the UPSC Prelims cut off in 2025?
In the Civil Services Examination 2025 the minimum qualifying marks in the Preliminary Examination were 92.66 for General, 89.34 for EWS, 92.00 for OBC, 84.00 for SC and 82.66 for ST.
Is the CSAT paper counted in the Prelims cut off?
